oh god sweetheart no don’t cry…

Ten crying was always so heartbreaking when he cried, the sheer pain in his eyes and the loss and the emptiness, you could see worlds dying in them. And I think 11 is heartbreaking in a different way because look at him, 11 is a Doctor who has bow ties and fezzes and baby giraffe limbs but its hiding so much anger and self hatred and even here - he’s crying but there’s so much revulsion in his expression and he refuses to let himself cry. To show greif. To mourn

To be human

great now i’m crying

As am I. Fuck everything.

Crying….

This kid is amazing. Every day he has come to college dressed like ten, but today he was dressed like eleven. He used to have ten hair too, but he cut it off. Depressing. However, he is still fantastic. I just knew I had to share this with the rest of you. I hope he has tumblr and he sees my appreciation for him. Definitely a hardcore Whovian. Love it.

So…last night I wated Let’s Kill Hitler (cause you know, who wasn’t?) with some friends. We watched the episode and all of us LOVED it. Afterwards though, we really got to thinking about River Song. We kinda just sat and speculated for a little bit but really got down to thinking about how she got around to knowing the Doctor.
What ended up happening, we somehow figured River into just a giant loop through time. So, to clarify it for ourselves, we wrote down a little chart on a scrap notebook page. It got more and more complicated and we realized it would have to be color coded and whatnot to be understndable, and ended up with the above result.
It’s a little bit confusing so I’ll walk through it. OK, so first of all, we start out in A Good Man Goes to War with Melody Pond being born. From there, she gets kidnapped and brainwashed to kill the Doctor and all that jazz. After we get through that, it goes into Amy and Rory’s childhood with Melody now being the Mels character from Let’s Kill Hitler. After Mels, we arrive at Let’s Kill Hitler while they are in his Hitler’s office and she regenerates into the current incarnation of herself that is River Song. She kills the Doctor and loses her regeneration powers and blah blah blah. At the end of the episode she went to the Luna University and became the archeologist Proffesor River Song we all know through he 11th Doctor.
This is where it gets tricky.
After that chain of events happens, the Doctor and River start moving in oppisite directions on their timelines, as we know. They keep spreading apart until we get to the episode Silence in the Library, River’s ‘first’ appearance. We now know thta this is the point where the Doctor and River on complete oppisite ends of their timelines. River knows or at least has some idea that she is going to die at this point, as she states in The Impossible Astronaut: “Every time we meet he knows less and less about me and I know more and more about him. One day he’s not going to know me at all…and I think it’s going to kill me”. But anyway, River puts herself into the Libarary to rescue all the people in it and in turn kills herself. She get’s saved into the harddrive of the Library through the Doctor’s screwdriver and stays there for who knows how long.
Jumping out of River’s timeline now, we go into the Doctor’s. So Ten dies and regenerates into Eleven. He goes on all his adventures with Amy and Rory and whatnot and eventually we come to Series 6. In the first 2 episodes The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon, we meet Canton Delaware, the C.I.A agent. He helps them through the battle with the Silence and all and stuff we know. After that though, we don’t know what happens to cause him to be back in Utah when the Doctoris killed. Where westarted speculating on this was that at some point in time (possibly later in Series 6 or 7) he reappears and gains the trust of the Doctor. The Doctor, knowing he is going to die in Utah, leaves instructions for Canton to hide the TARDIS or something like that. Canton, following the Doctors instructions, goes and releases River from the Library harddrive. She reverts back to her pimal brainwashed instincts to kill the Doctor and ends up in Utah with River, Amy, Rory and Canton, where the Doctor dies.
We didn’t really know where to go from there. But since that was what Melody was brainwashed for, she no longer has a purpose.  Also, not being able to regenerate, she just lives a normal life. So she could possibly go to the orphanage as in The Impossible Astronaut or something. But that’s where she stopped. We also figured, that River was in prison since the justice people from Let’s Kill Hitler don’t really travel in a linear path and just arrrested the Professor song version of River, not the Library projection for killing the Dctor.
That’s where we got though. Feel free to blow some holes through it, as I’m sure there are. But that’s out speculation and it sounds pretty sound.
